Home Repairs & Maintenance

The whole list, one visit.

Fascia work underway

The reason small repairs don't get done is not that they're hard. It's that no one will come do one. Call about a single sticking door and most contractors won't call back, because a two-hour job doesn't pay them to drive out.

We will. And the honest answer is that it works because of the way this business is built — if we're already at your place for the lawn, or we can group your list into one visit, the drive stops being the problem.

So send the whole list. It is cheaper to do six things in one trip than six things in six trips, and you finally get the list off the fridge.

What's included

  • Drywall patching and texture matching
  • Door adjustment, replacement and hardware
  • Trim, baseboard and casing
  • Deck repair and board replacement
  • Fence and gate repair
  • Caulking and weatherstripping
  • Shelving and storage
  • General maintenance punch lists

Who calls us for this

A list on the fridge that has been there since last spring.

A rental turnover where six small things all need doing before the next tenant.

Getting a house ready to sell and the inspector's list is longer than expected.

What drives the price

There's no rate card on the site yet, because a made-up range helps nobody. Here's what actually moves the number:

  • How many items are on the list — batching is genuinely cheaper
  • Whether we're matching existing finishes (texture and paint matching takes time)
  • Materials, and whether you've already bought them
  • Access and how much furniture has to move
  • Anything hidden behind the wall we can't see until it's open

Questions we get

Do you take small jobs?

Yes. One door, one shelf, one patch. Most companies won't say that out loud, and it's most of what people actually need.

Can I send a list instead of calling about one thing?

Please do. Send it through the estimate form with photos and you'll get a more accurate number, faster.

Do you do plumbing and electrical?

We do fixture-level work — see Fixtures & Installations. Anything that needs a licensed trade, we'll tell you straight instead of taking it on.

Can you match my wall texture?

Usually. Knockdown and orange peel are both doable. Send a photo with the estimate and we'll tell you before we start.

Do you buy the materials?

We can, or you can. If you've already got the part, that's less on the invoice.
